Sue was like a breath of fresh air and positivity that made me smile. Even though I lived thousands of miles away and we’d barely had the chance to get to know each other before my family left the UK in 1996, Sue came back into my life nearly 20 years later when I was at my darkest point after a diagnosis of breast cancer. Her lovely emails with tips and encouragement lifted me up when I was really down - I was so touched by how thoughtful and caring she was and will never forget her kindness and beautiful spirit.
