I so admired Sue for her warmth and enthusiasm and feel honoured to have known her.  To me, she was the beating heart of the AFMT gatherings alongside Caroline.  She always gave such a warm welcome and managed to conjure up food for the masses as well as arrange last minute accommodation for the canvas-shy amongst us.  She seemed multi-talented whether donning a mop-cap and cooking a delicious meal for the murder mystery evenings, with you as the M.C,  or as the stained glass tutor to Susan and Angie, (and that’s to say nothing of her day job and family roles)!  Nothing seemed to faze her and you were obviously a great team together.
 
I only recently discovered Sue’s love of Harris and wish there had been more of an opportunity to share that.  I am so glad, however that you were able to have Sue’s belated birthday celebration and family gathering at Borvemor, however poignant that must have been,  and that Harris gave of its best.
